🔜 Why You Will Be A Different Person In 5 Years

The following concept is extremely powerful if you want to achieve great things and also become more fulfilled - be it for yourself, your team or your company.

Let me explain: Most changes in our lives happen so slowly that we hardly notice them.

And so we hardly notice that we are a different person today than we were five years ago. You think differently, you have different priorities, maybe your aspirations have evolved, you make different choices, and so on.

When you first hear this, you may be a little incredulous. That's normal. But take a closer look: you will clearly notice differences between the present you and the past you.

The same is true, of course, when we look into the future: You will be someone different in 5 years than you are today.

Of course, this development goes faster the more external influences there are in your life.

And what I'm explaining here for one person applies just as much to a team or even an entire company.

Here's the point: Either you let...

What will you get better at this year?

Welcome to the new year! I hope you had a pleasant start and begin the new year full of motivation and confidence.

My first question for this year as food for thought may seem a bit unusual: "What will you become better at this year?" Or, "What will you be significantly better at in 12 months than you are today?"

After all, most people tend to talk about goals and resolutions now. While this has its merits (I'm a big proponent of the importance of grand objectives), it often neglects a crucial aspect:

The biggest lever for your results and success is your own level in your thinking, behavior and skills.

That's why I suggest that right from the start you make sure that you get better in one important aspect every week. This requires systematic work on it.

You can, of course, choose from a variety of topics for personal growth. From my experience working with top leaders and society development, I particularly encourage the following three topics:
  1. Rational thinking. It may be...

Do you believe in Easter bunnies?

Let's keep it short today: Happy Easter! I hope you have a great time with your loved ones and do what you enjoy the most.

Here are three Easter ideas on how to make the remaining nine months of the year outstanding:

  1. Have exactly three main goals for the next nine months. Who exactly are you and what exactly do you have achieved until the end of the year? Write this down and hang it on the wall in front of you (or even better: paint your ideal situation at the end of the year!)
  2. Install exactly one new habit per month. Yes, right: If you apply ONE new success habit for 30 days every month, you become "automatically" better, 12 times per year!
  3. Read at least one book or invest in a video or audio course per month. And this also applies if you are "employed": Don't wait for your boss to tell you! It's YOUR life. So invest in it!

Regardless of whether you read this post at the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018, this is the ideal time to set things straight for the next 12 months. Let’s keep this one short and crisp.

Here are three ideas to make 2018 an outstanding experience:

  1. Set ONE audacious key goal or guiding star for 2018. What MUST happen in your life, business, or career? What is your key desire you want to go after? Put it in one crisp statement and place it everywhere in sight for the next 12 months. Share it with friends.
  2. What mindsets and habits do you need to change to support this key goal? This is the root of all your success. If you keep the same mindset, behaviours, and habits as last year, you will most likely get similar (or worse) results. Find up to three items you want to change for yourself.
  3. Set up and start a personal...
